Bikes Aren’t Spooky/ Mystic Highlands Greenway Ride, October 30, 3pm Stoneham > Wakefield> Melrose > Malden
Have you seen these signs around Stoneham and Melrose yet? They’re wayfinding signs marking the Mystic Highlands Greenway route. The Mystic Highlands Greenway is a plan and vision of a safe and inviting walking, biking, and rolling corridor connecting the town centers, parks, transit and regional trail corridors in Malden, Melrose, Stoneham, Wakefield and Reading. Sounds wonderful, right?

We’re co-hosting this tour with Bike to the Sea and Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) to celebrate the route signage being installed. We’ll have ebikes available for test rides at the end and available for rent for the entire ride. Learn more and RSVP.

The Mystic Highlands Greenway will provide an “all ages and abilities” connection between the Northern Strand Trail to the Tri-Community Path and the future Wakefield-Lynnfield Rail Trail. The route is a collaboration between the Office of Senator Jason Lewis, Bike to the Sea, The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), the City of Malden, the City of Melrose, the Town of Wakefield, and the Town of Stoneham.
