About Us
The Ride Cafe is your local ebike shop offering repair, rentals, and sales, with cold brew and more. Our primary goal is to enhance the joy and convenience of your trips while promoting vibrant bike and transit culture.
Repair & Fitting
We want your trips to go smoothly and we know how frustrating it is when a bike, scooter, or stroller isn’t working properly. We provide repair, tune-up, assembly, and fittings for all types of bikes, including cargo and electric. Additionally, we offer tire and brake repairs for scooters and strollers.
While you’re here, stock up on tubes, lights, riding gear, and more.
Drop off your bike during our regular business hours, or schedule an appointment with our expert mechanics or bike fitter.
Rentals
Looking to try a bike for a weekend before you buy? Interested in renting additional bikes while you have guests visiting? Just want to rent an ebike for the first time? You came to the right place. We rent Aventon bikes – the highest quality & least expensive bikes on the market – in our opinion. And what matters the most? They are so fun to ride. But don’t take out word for it.
Retail
We sell unique transportation-focused and Boston-themed gifts.
Pick up something special for the transit or bike lover in your life.
Please note, we love cash & Venmo and require a $15 minimum purchase for credit card payments, when buying in store.
Cafe
Enjoy a cold brew, kombucha, non-alcoholic beer, or snack while getting your bike serviced.
Hours
Tues: 10am-3pm
Wed: 8:30-1pm
Thurs: 10–11am, 2-6pm
Fri: 9:30-11am, 2-5:30pm
Sat: 10am-3pm
There’s many different options for services and shopping:
- Drop your bike off anytime that we’re open,
- schedule an appointment with our mechanics,
- schedule a 15-minute appointment to shop, pick up/drop off bikes or rentals, or test ride the Aventon ebikes, or
- have your bike or rental delivered locally.
